A man was shot in Cork Street at around 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Detectives are appealing for any person who may have been in the Cork Street, Marrowbone Lane, Donore Avenue at the time and who may have information to contact them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí at Kevin Street at 01-666-9432 or any Garda Station.
