Police in Northern Ireland are investigating an attack on a man (56) in Coleraine, Co Derrry, last night.
The attack happened at around 9.30 p.m. when the man was alone in his house on the Sea Coast Road in Castlerock.
Threee masked men, one armed with an iron bar, broke into his house and forceed the man outside where they assaulted him.
One of the men poured petrol around his house and car and set fire them alight before speeding off in a car. Both house and car were extensively damaged.

The victim is in hospital suffering from cuts and bruises.
