Tehran - Flooding after torrential rains killed 22 people in two Iranian provinces, Tehran radio reported yesterday.

Tehran - Flooding after torrential rains killed 22 people in two Iranian provinces, Tehran radio reported yesterday.

It said an unspecified number of people were missing after the floods which damaged homes, farmlands and roads in Qazvin province, west of the capital Tehran, and north-western East Azerbaijan.

Rainfall in recent weeks has caused flash floods in northern and north-western Iran.
