Five people are feared dead after a medical airlift helicopter crashed on a Greek island.
The helicopter was carrying a patient from the Aegean Sea island of Anafi when it went down before dawn near the base of a mountain.
The reason for the crash is not immediately known.
Besides the patient, two pilots and two medical personnel were on the helicopter, officials said.

Debris was strewn around the crash site on Anafi which is about 100 miles southeast of Athens. There was no immediate evidence of survivors, officials said.
