FG denies move against Lowry

A Fine Gael spokesman has denied reports that the party whip may be removed from Mr Michael Lowry at the next parliamentary party meeting. No such motion had been signalled, a spokesman said, and would be highly unusual because of Mr Lowry's undertaking to answer questions before the Dail sub committee investigating Judge Buchanan's preliminary report into Dunnes payments.
