Gardai in Dublin are tonight investigating the fatal stabbing of a man (41) at a house in Swords.
The incident occurred at an address in Lios Cian, Mooretown shortly after 7pm.
The victim was taken to Beaumont Hospital following a row in a house where he later died from his injuries.
One man has been arrested and is detained at Swords Garda station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
A Garda spokesman said the scene had been preserved and an incident room has been set up at Swords Garda station.
