ICL COMPUTERS and the Irish Science Journalists' Association are offering a PC to the winner of the "New Journalist of the Year" competition. The runner up will receive £200, and there is a special runner up prize of £100 for PLC students.

Prizes will go for the best published material relating to science or technology, in either English or Irish, taken from newspapers, magazines, college publications or radio/TV broadcasts material should not relate to a student's owns science project. The competition is open to all those attending third level institutions in Ireland, those on PLC courses, 1995 graduates and journalists aged 23 and under on April 5th (the closing date for entries).
