A COMPETITION for French teachers and their students has just been launched by French-based television station TV5. The prize is a week in the French capital and a chance to participate in a "classe internationale". They are asked to create a project in French, illustrated with photos, drawings and text, to sum up the five "treasures" of their town, parish or locality - each "treasure" should be either an object, a place or a personality that particularly attracts you or "may be in your dreams". The project should be of at least three and not more than 10 (A4) pages in length. An audio-video recording of your work, though not obligatory, would be appreciated.
