Dublin boxer Bernard Dunne maintained his unbeaten record when he defeated Argentinian champion Sergio Carlos Santillan near Turin in Italy tonight.

Dunne was always in control of the super bantomweight bout despite Santillan coming to the ring with a strong reputation. He eventually stopped his opponent in the eighth and final round.

Dunne still has his sights set on fighting European champion Michael Hunter.
