The Dublin-Belfast train service should resume normal schedules today following serious disruption yesterday over the suspension of a driver. The 6.45 a.m. train from Belfast was cancelled, but the 8 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. services ran on time. In the afternoon, bus services supplemented the train service, because of delays to the 2 p.m. train from Belfast and the 16.50 p.m. train from Dublin. The disruption was due to unofficial industrial action by train drivers, who reported sick after a colleague's suspension.
