The new British Defence Secretary, Mr George Robertson, visited the military installation at Bessbrook, Co Armagh, on Saturday - his first visit to Northern Ireland since his appointment.
He met soldiers from the First Battalion the Welsh Guards and First Battalion the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, after a briefing with the General Officer Commanding at the British army's headquarters in Lisburn.
