Roskilde - The Danish Prime Minister, Mr Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, has changed the thrust of his campaign for a Yes vote in Denmark's May 28th Amsterdam Treaty referendum, saying the pact would mean less meddling in the country's affairs.

An opinion poll this week suggested most Danes, including many leaning towards approving the treaty, were concerned about the possibility of more EU interference.
