BEIJING - China said yesterday it had complained to the United States about the meeting between the Dalai Lama and President Clinton and Vice President Gore in Washington this week. A Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mr Cui Tiankai, said it was strongly dissatisfied with the US for allowing the Tibetan spiritual leader to carry out "splittist activities" on its territory.
