Curfew imposed in Rift Valley

Nairobi - Kenya's President Daniel arap Moi yesterday imposed a night curfew on all towns and cities in parts of the troubled Rift Valley area where over 100 people have died in ethnic violence since January 11th. Kenya's Central Bank governor, Mr Micah Cheserem, said the violence was scaring potential foreign investors and inflicting damage on the economy.
