Three men have been charged in connection with the robbery of a transit delivery van in Raheny Village on Monday.

The men, in their 20s and 30s, allegedly approached and threatened security staff making a delivery at a shopping centre in Raheny at around 4.45pm.

They fled the scene with a cash box which was later recovered by gardaí.

The men were arrested in the Coolock area a short time after the incident and questioned at Clontarf Garda station.

One of the men (24) appeared at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Parkgate Street yesterday, while the other two are scheduled to appear in court this morning.
