Man charged after cocaine worth €8,000 seized in Dublin

Arrest made following search of house in Crumlin on Saturday afternoon

A man has been arrested in Dublin after cocaine worth an estimated €8,000 was discovered at a house in Crumlin on Saturday.

The arrest was made following a planned search of a property on Clonard Road at around 2pm by the Divisional Drug Unit and local gardaí.

The main is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and has been charged. He is due to appear at Dublin District Court on December 19th.
