Dublin-Belfast rail services suspended following death on line

Disruptions envisaged until noon, commuters advised to make alternative arrangements

Train services on the Dublin to Belfast route have been suspended following a death on the line at Skerries.

No trains are operating between Malahide and Drogheda, and disruptions are expected to continue until around noon.

Users of the Northern Commuter service have been advised to make alternative travel arrangements, and Dublin Bus are accepting valid rail tickets.

Emergency services are currently at the scene, and the death is being treated as a personal tragedy.
