She bought 600 cigarettes while she was in Lanzarote and carefully packed them in her suitcase. When she got home and opened the case she was dismayed to see that 400 had been stolen as, she suspects, her bags were making their way through Dublin Airport. Either that or the customs officers have adopted a stealthy approach and had removed the cigarettes that had taken her over her legal allowance.
