The COPE Foundation has announced a cancellation of the lottery which it had been running in Cork since 1958

The COPE Foundation has announced a cancellation of the lottery which it had been running in Cork since 1958. According to the chief executive, Mr Jerry Buttimer, it can no longer compete with other lotteries. COPE, originally the Cork Polio and Aftercare Association, looked after more than 1,600 handicapped people throughout Cork city and county.
