WASHINGTON - President Bill Clinton has gone completely hoarse and doctors have asked him to keep quiet for three or four days.

"The president has lost his voice. It is missing in action," White House spokesman, Mr Michael McCurry said, without commenting on whether Mr Clinton's ailment would postpone the formation of a new, Cabinet.
