Cleric reported dead after arrest

NICOSIA - The body of an Iranian Sunni cleric accused of having ties with Saudi Arabia has been found in southern Iran days after he was held by security officials, relatives and opposition sources said yesterday. Molavi Ahmad Sayyad was arrested on January 28th and his body was found outside the city five days later, an Iranian activist living in the United Arab Emirates said.
