The Lee Clegg murder appeal enters its closing stages in Belfast today, when lawyers are due to make their closing submissions.
For the past two weeks the Court of Appeal has heard ballistics experts from Britain and the United States give complex forensic evidence.
At one stage the three judges left the court to watch a demonstration involving a red Vauxhall Astra Car similar to the one in which 18-year-old Ms Karen Reilly was travelling when she was shot in west Belfast in 1990.
