Beijing - China and the US are to hold military talks to help avoid incidents such as the collision between a US spy plane and a Chinese fighter last April, writes Miriam Donohoe.
It is expected that the talks, to be held in the US Pacific territory of Guam next week, will help rebuild a military dialogue between China and the United States that has been frozen since a US EP-3 spy plane made an emergency landing on the southern Chinese island of Hainan on April 1st, after colliding with a Chinese fighter.
