Liam Lawlor to resign his Dáil seat.

Mr Bruton said: "We recognise that this is a personally very distressing day for Liam Lawlor's family but he has brought it all on himself.
"He would be best advised to resign from the Dáil and we believe the Taoiseach should advise him to that effect.
"I do not believe that somebody in the difficulty that Liam Lawlor is in is really the best sort of person to be representing any constituency in the Dáil.
"This is a scandalous thing for him to have done."
