LONDON - A long-awaited report into the "cash-for-questions" row - which deeply embarrassed the ailing Tory party during much of the recent British general election campaign - was handed to MPs yesterday.
The report - expected to be made public later in the week - delivers the verdict on whether the former minister, Mr Neil Hamilton, accepted envelopes stuffed with cash from Mr Mohamed Al Fayed, the owner of Harrods, in return for asking questions in the House of Commons. In total, judgement will be passed on 10 Tories.
