Sir, – I must take issue with Pádraic Harvey (Letters, July 1st) regarding the dynamic tripod method being the most efficient method of holding a pen, and the recommendation of an instructional video on its merits.
I am a proud non-tripod disciple of penmanship. Many efforts imposed during my school days to convert me failed miserably. Decades later, I am sure you will agree that my elegant cursive correspondence is proof enough that individual expression outshines conformity. – Yours, etc,
