LAST night the Smashing Pumpkins issued a statement through their record company Virgin expressing their regret at the death of Bernadette O'Brien.
"The Smashing Pumpkins are saddened and shocked to learn of the tragic death of Bernadette O'Brien after their gig in Dublin on Saturday night. Billy, James D'Arcy and Jimmy extend their deepest condolences to Bernadette's family and friends."
