64 new solicitors join the Roll

At a Law Society of Ireland ceremony in Dublin last night 64 newly qualified solicitors were admitted to the Roll of Solicitors.

These included four solicitors from Britain, one from Northern Ireland and one from Germany. They bring the total on the Roll to 5,876.

The winner of the King's Hospital Prize for academic achievement was Ms Amanda Roe, who is currently studying law and accountancy at the University of Limerick.
