Two men who admitted causing £22,000 worth of damage by arson to a Church of Ireland premises have been remanded for sentence by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Gary Ryan and Nigel Capper, both 22, from St Maur's Park, Rush, Co Dublin, pleaded guilty to arson at the church in Rush Demesne on July 15th, 1996. Ryan also admitted unlawful possession of a petrol bomb on the same occasion.

Judge Cyril Kelly remanded both men on continuing bail for sentence on October 20th next.
