Looking for something to do this weekend?

If you are heading to the Botanic Gardens this weekend, check out a nice exhibition of artwork that comes to an end this weekend in the garden's gallery space. Printmaker Cliona Doyle, sculptor Ana Duncan and painter Des Fox have drawn inspiration from the natural world and Flowing Forms is the result.

The eclectic works give the public a chance to reflect on the intricacies of nature, after a meandering walk through what is one of Dublin’s most popular and free attractions.

Doyle's dynamic floral etchings capture the strength and fragility of natural colour and form. Fox's paintings examine seed heads, floral buds and other natural shapes in their abstracted beauty while Duncan explores the human figure and patterns in nature using bronze and ceramic. Flowing Forms is open from 10am-4.30pm today and tomorrow. Admission free. botanicgardens.ie
