The property could have appeal for downsizers: its late owner, former Abbey actress Patsy Madden, downsized from Blackrock after her family were grown and lived happily here for about 20 years, close to neighbours and friends such as former colleague Cyril Cusack and artist Pat Hickey.

The house is one of a terrace of 22 villa-style houses that runs from Mulgrave Street up to Tivoli Road. A path dividing the long front garden, with parking for two cars, leads from the street to the front door. There is lawn on each side of the path.

Marble fireplaces
