Apollo 7 launches in Tallaght with three-beds from €355K

Just beyond Dublin’s city limits, adjacent to the M50 and on the site of landmark pub, The Cuckoo’s Nest, Temple Woods is a small scheme of 45 units – 39 houses and six apartments – by Apollo 7 Group.

The same developer built Orchard View, a development of 15 houses in Donabate, of which 14 are sold; and Royal Oaks in Enfield, Co Meath, a scheme totalling 155 units where 44 homes launched in July 2016. These have since sold out and building has begun on the next phase starting in January.

There are 20 three-bed homes, each 111sq m (1,195sq ft) in size, available in this launch phase at Temple Woods. There are nine mid-terrace units, starting from €355,000; nine end-of-terrace houses from €370,000 and two semi-detached homes from €390,000 through agent DNG.

The contemporary design is by Davey & Smyth Architects who partner with Fenton and Associates Planners on residential developments as Delphi Architecture and Planning.

The showhouse has been designed by the firm’s in-house designer Eimear Keogh and includes Shaker-style kitchens with laminate countertops and a quartz counter on the island. Included in the price is a Nordmende appliance package, which includes a double oven, microwave, hob, extractor, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

The houses also come fully floored throughout the ground floor with timber-effect tiles. The bathrooms feature Sonas sanitaryware. Each property has 25sq m (269sq ft) of floored attic space.

The development includes decent-sized gardens that average between between 70sq m (753sq ft) and 80sq m (861sq ft) in size.

The front exterior has a brick finish and there is off-street parking for two cars.  As part of the new scheme the developer is rebuilding the bar as a smaller gastropub. Tallaght Theatre, another local landmark, is also scheduled be rebuilt to the front of the site.

The A-rated, timber-built, homes are situated beside Tymon Park, a large public park well serviced by playing fields across a range of disciplines, and bisected by the M50.

The estate is 10km from the city centre. The Kingswood red line Luas stop is about a 15-minute walk.
