FINE ART painter-turned-furniture-maker Stephen O'Briain is just back from Tent London where he showed his latest range . He has a limited number of pieces from an earlier 2007 "Origami" collection on offer to Irish Timesreaders. There's a glass-top Tripod wenge and chestnut dining table that seats four and measures 1.1m wide reduced from €3,025 to €2,100. He also has a number of similar but smaller lamp tables 'in walnut, reduced from €1,800 to €1,250 each.

A second, 1.65m diameter glass-topped Star dining table in walnut is reduced from €6,050 to €4,200. Stephen is best known for his limited edition walnut Bone chair that won first prize last year for furniture at the Royal Dublin Society National Crafts Competition and the Crafts Council of Ireland Purchase Award. This piece is a future classic and has even garnered interest from members of the Smithsonian Institute, which makes all his work extremely collectible. Nationwide delivery is free on these offers.
