Classic seats in Dundrum

CLASSIC FURNITURE, which recently opened in Dundrum village’s old shopping centre (01-2166110), has some incredible value in one-off seating, beds and lighting.

The day Bargain Hunter visited there was this Eames-style recliner and ottoman down from €1,299 to €899 and a red boucle Arne Jacobsen-style Egg seat with stool – the pair were €1,600, now reduced to €799. There’s also an ongoing selection of Irish-made couches reduced from €995 to €495 to clear. In lighting there are numerous designs from arc-shaped floor lamps reduced from €300 each to €150 to a Fortuny cine floor light down from €1,799 to €1,400.
