PCR test: Have you experienced a delay, or has it gone smoothly?

On the radio and in the Dáil, there has been a chorus of complaints about people’s inability to get a PCR test, and “inordinate delays” in the process. People Before Profit TD Richard Boyd Barrett told TDs on Tuesday that “you can’t get a PCR test for love nor money in Dublin”. Taoiseach Micheál Martin replied that “we’ve had 207,000 people PCR tested in the past seven days”.

What has your experience – good or bad – been of PCR testing in recent days and weeks? Have you been delayed, or had to travel for a test? Or did it all go smoothly?
