Irish abroad: Have your say on the general election result

The people of Ireland have spoken, but are you happy with what they had to say?

Counting continues in the general election and ten seats have yet to be filled this morning, but Fine Gael is taking the lead by a narrow margin with 47 seats, over Fianna Fáil's 43. The Government parties have suffered heavy losses while Fianna Fáil has more than doubled its share of seats. Currently Labour is on six seats, Sinn Féin has 22, AAA- PBP has five seats, Social Democrats has three, the Green party has two seats while Independents and others have 20.

As an Irish person living abroad with no vote, how have you reacted to the general election result? The people of Ireland (still living in Ireland, at least) have spoken, but are you happy with what they had to say? Does the result give you more hope about returning to Ireland in the future, or less?
