A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Navan, Co Meath at the weekend.
The body of Zbigniew Czech was found in a residential property on Academy Street on Saturday night with wounds suggesting he died violently.
Mr Czech, who was aged in his 40s, came from Poland and had been living in the town since 2019.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was arrested in connection with the discovery of his body. She is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Kells Garda station. It is understood she knew the deceased.

Gardaí have said that investigations are ongoing and the scene wis being preserved for forensic and technical examination. The Office of the State Pathologist and local Coroner have been notified.
A postmortem is expected to be carried out on Monday.
