An exploration of the nature of portraiture, in which the gallery collaborated with Jackie Nickerson, drawing on her recent book Terrain. Nickerson's photographs of African agricultural workers (detail, left, is from the image Mavis) and farmers in the midst of their daily lives are juxtaposed with portrait paintings from the National Gallety of Ireland's own collection, including work by Mario Nuzzi and Joshua Reynolds.
