DOVES

Winter Hill Heavenly Records ***

Speaking of winter, Doves are back with Winter Hill, the predictably solid but not earth- shattering second single from their Kingdom of Rust album. There’s a cool stunt cyclist in the video, but that’s pretty much where the excitement ends.

Don’t go overboard, lads. www.allmusic. com/themurderclues
