Nick Bracegirdle is no stranger to big names or an eclectic mix of contributors: over the years, he's had hits with everyone from Bryan Adams to Clannad's Moya Doherty and Tom Jones. His sixth excursion plundering the more melodic end of the trance and electronica spectrum has no big showstopping name or number, but Bo Bruce (winner of The Voice UK) excels on the dark, groovy dream-like Still With Me. Dead Can Dance's Lisa Gerrard's turn is less instantaneous on the meandering, mystical Orleans, but US vocalist Duane Harden ably plugs the gaps on the muscular One More Time. There are few surprises in-between the euphoric Ibiza-tinged anthems and slow-building floorfillers, but it's precisely what you might expect from a Chicane album. chicanemusic.co.uk
