A woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage during the Dublin riots of November 2023. Her arrest brings to 65 the number of people who have been questioned by gardaí in relation to the disturbances which broke out on November 23rd, 2023, after reports of a stabbing incident at a primary school in Parnell Square East.

Some €20 million worth of damage was done, and several people were injured in the disturbances.

Gardaí have continued their investigations and have issued photographs for 100 “persons of interest” in relation to the riots on the first anniversary last November. At least 90 of those people have been identified by the public.

Gardaí stressed that the woman arrested and questioned at Store Street was not one of the “persons of interest”.
