We know, we know – we keep banging on about portable battery chargers, but manufacturers really are shoehorning them into everything these days.
The latest is a belt that will charge your phone on the move. It’s from the same people who brought you the Nifty Drive for the Macbook, and while “life changing” is a bit of an exaggeration, the XOO belt might, at the very least, make things a little easier when you travel.
The battery is located in the belt buckle, with a flexible battery in the belt itself, accessed via a cable that tucks neatly out of sight when it’s not being used.
Simply connect your phone, pop it in your pocket and you’re good to go. LEDs on the buckle let you know how much charge is left, and it takes about three hours to charge up the belt fully.
The company has also linked up with a designer to come up with some stylish options for the belt, so it might actually be a wearable that you will want to wear.
