Let's be clear on one thing: the Z1 Compact is not a "mini". Instead of sacrificing functionality for a smaller size, Sony has decided to hang on to everything from the camera to the 2.2Ghz processor that powers it.
In fact, the only thing they’ve shrunk is the screen, which is now a more manageable 4.3 inches, although it loses the full HD of its bigger sibling. It’s still vibrant and detailed though, and you’d be hard pushed to miss that tag. The Xperia Z1 compact has even managed to retain that premium feeling, even in the hot pink version.
Sony may just have offered a real option for those looking for an Android alternative.
