Team building company launches Brexit Rage Room in London

A UK company that specialises in team-building exercises has launched what it believed to be the first ever 'Brexit Rage Room' to allow people to express their frustration over the UK's botched exit from the European Union.

The rage room, which is aimed at both Remainers and Brexiteers, is to open on March 29th, the day the UK is scheduled to leave the European Union.

The event, which will take place in a warehouse in London, lasts for one hour and begins with a short debating session in which participants are invited to discuss the wisdom or folly of leaving the EU and how Brexit negotiations have been handled.

Participants will then be invited to express their frustration by smashing up Brexit-related objects and pinatas of political figures such as Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson, with a wide array of tools.

At the end of the rage room session there will be a half- hour meditation session to help groups unwind.

"Since it was announced that the UK is leaving the EU in 2016 and Article 50 was triggered, Brexit has probably been the biggest talking point across Europe - and with Brexit Day just around the corner, people are more stressed than ever about what it will bring," said Tina Benson, managing director of TeamTactics, the company behind the rage room.

“We decided that we needed to help at least a few teams relieve the stress of an uncertain future whilst having some fun, and what better way to do it than have them smashing up pinatas of politicians,” she added.
