ISME members who trooped into the Radisson St Helen's Hotel in Dublin on Tuesday to consider a new constitution must have been confused as to which event they should go to. For the hotel's notice board listed both the ISME extraordinary general meeting and another event, intriguingly entitled "Bullet-proof management".

Judging by the tone of the hot and heavy meeting, ISME members are clearly divided on the events which have transpired in the last year, splitting the organisation and gravely damaging its public image.

Although they did manage to vote in the new constitution, matters seem far from over and the scene is set for another row at the a.g.m. in July. One suspects that a few ISME members may yet be enquiring about that bullet-proof course after all.
