PWC appoints 12 new partners in Ireland to meet increased demand

Firm will have 111 partners in the State, including 33 women

Professional services firm PWC has appointed 12 new partners across the business, with effect from July 1st.

The company has appointed four new tax partners, three new partners to its advisory and consulting practice and a further five to its assurance departments, which includes banking, actuarial services, insurance and auditing.

The new partners include Amy Ball (advisory), Colm O’Callaghan (tax), Declan Maunsell (assurance), Doone O’Doherty (tax), Fidelma Boyce (assurance), Gillian Lowth (assurance), Ilona McElroy (tax), Ken Tyrrell (advisory), Nicola Quinn (tax), Olivia Hayden (assurance), Ronan Mulligan (assurance), and Sinéad Ovenden (advisory).

The appointments bring its total number of partners in the Republic to 111, including 33 female partners. It has about 3,600 staff across Ireland, North and South.

Fergal O’Rourke, PWC Ireland’s managing partner, said the appointments were being made “due to significantly increased client demands”.
