Pascal Saint-Amans, a director at the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the PwC Irish Times Tax Summit, which will be held on September 20th in the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge.
Mr Saint-Amans is expected to address issues around corporate taxation in Europe and globally.
The conference will also consider some likely themes in Budget 2019, which will be delivered this year on October 9th by Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe. Brexit and its impact on the Irish economy will also feature in the debate.
Business and politics
Other speakers for the conference will include Feargal O'Rourke, managing partner of PwC; Joe Tynan, the firm's head of tax; Ciarán Hancock, Business Editor of The Irish Times; and Cliff Taylor, a managing editor with The Irish Times.
A number of other speakers from the business and political sectors will be confirmed for the breakfast event in the coming weeks.
