Mr Raymond Turner, group design director of BAA plc, the world's largest privately-owned airport company, has become chairman of Bradley McGurk partnership, the Dublin-based branding and design strategy consultants.

Mr Turner's role with the British Airports Authority covers all design specialities from environmental and product design through to development and management of BAA's corporate identity. He is also the design director behind Heathrow's new $3 million terminal five.

Early in his career, he established and managed the Kilkenny Design Centre.
