Jewellery multiple Fields to open store in Galway

Competition in the Galway jewellery trade is set to move up a step with the decision by the Irish jewellery multiple Fields to open a new outlet at 35 William Street in the centre of Galway.

The company will be paying a rent of about €125,000 for the 75s q m (807 sq ft) premises along one of the busiest stretches in the city. Fields has been trading for more than 30 years and has other shops in Dublin's Grafton Street as well as at the Blanchardstown Centre and Dundrum Town Centre

The letting agents were BNP Paribas and Rooney’s. Four other retailers expressed interest in leasing the corner premises.
