Technology Ireland, the Ibec group that represents the technology sector, launched its annual awards on Friday.
The group’s director Una Fitzpatrick said the awards “recognise and celebrate” companies that have developed “innovative technologies and advancements” across 11 award categories.
“The recent challenges facing tech employers and employees in Ireland has undoubtedly posed a significant challenge and has created difficulties and uncertainty for many,” she said.
“Bearing these challenges in mind, the technology sector has a proven track record of resilience and adaptability in times of uncertainty and strain, which has been demonstrated over the past few years.

“Ireland’s position as a global tech-hub means that we have a greater responsibility to ensure those working in the industry receive the recognition and support required to rebuild, grow, and prosper. These awards offer a significant opportunity to express appreciation for those paving the way.”
EY Ireland will sponsor the group’s headline Technology Company of the Year Award. The awards ceremony will be held on November 17th in the Mansion House in Dublin.
